The Sponsor a Musician Program is a special initiative that directly supports the performance needs of our musicians.
Funds raised annually support expenses including but not limited to music and instrument rentals, new library acquisitions and the maintenance or repair of orchestral instruments and equipment, all of which help enhance the overall concert experience for both musicians and patrons.
The DSO is home to a core of contracted musicians who fill the positions of concertmaster, associate concertmasters, principals, assistant principals, and section players.
We invite the public to sponsor a chair this season. Sponsors will be recognized in the concert program books directly under the position they select to support.
