Michael Maganuco is a harpist, teacher, composer, and arranger based in Southwest Michigan. He is principal harpist of the Dubuque and Jackson Symphonies and has performed with orchestras throughout the Midwest including Lyric Opera of Chicago Orchestra, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Milwaukee Symphony, South Bend Symphony, Illinois Symphony, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and Illinois Philharmonic. He plays Baroque triple harp as well and is experienced in performing continuo for historical operas. As a published and award-winning composer and arranger, his works have been performed and recorded by renowned harpists worldwide. He also teaches harp privately and as a faculty member of Kalamazoo College. He earned his bachelor’s degree in harp performance and composition from Boston University and his master’s in harp performance from Northwestern University.
